A 28 year old man is referred for an infertility work up. He and his 25 year old wife have at tempted to conceive for the past 4 years. The first time when patient visited our centre Semen analysis reveals Nil sperm concentration(Azoospermia), 10-15 Immature Germ cells.The volume was 0.3 ml. Testicular Biopsy showing Maturation arrest defect with testicular atrophy. After 3 months of treatment at our centre, follow up report Semen analysis shows Total sperm count 68 million Motility at 1hr 60% Motility at 2 Hrs -50%. Two months later couple conceived naturally.
A 29 year old man visited our centre with the reference of his friend. Couple had been trying to conceive for a number of years. After evaluation problem found in semen analysis and no sperm seen in semen volume, the only possible way to conceive was through IVF (ICSI). About the same time couple visited our centre, that time in Semen analysis no sperm found (Azoospermia). After three months at our centre Sperm concentration was 85 million and motility 60%.
A 32 year old man presents for evaluation following 2 years of unsuccessfully attempting to father a pregnancy. Semen analyses, performed on 2 occasions, revealed Nil Sperm count (Azoospermia). After three months of treatment at our centre semen analysis repeated shows Sperm concentration 23 million and Motility 60%.
